The main indicators that you need to rely on when choosing epoxy are the product

The period of use of the finished mixture or Pot life
The approximate time of processing of the product is always indicated on the packaging. This is the time from the moment when the two components are properly mixed with each other and the mixture has become beautifully transparent until the moment when the mixture begins to stretch and is no longer flowing.
The length of service life is largely dependent on what epoxy is used for. For example, it is inconceivable that epoxy for a river tablet dries quickly, because in the case of large-scale work, it is often necessary to correct errors somewhere. However, in the case of small works of art, there is no point in waiting for hours, since the work will be completed faster anyway.
In general, the rule also applies – The slower the product dries, the more large-scale castings can be poured at once.
Drying time
When choosing epoxy, you should always proceed from what you are going to use it for. If you are planning to pour a coffee table / dining table or make a bulky shape, you should choose a product with a longer drying time. You will have more time later to eliminate bubbles and, for example, remove debris.
However, if you want to make small jewelry or crystals, then you should choose products with a faster drying time, since their chemical reaction is stronger and they do not need so much volume of mixed epoxy to initiate a chemical reaction.
The shorter the drying time, the less the product can be poured at a time. If you mix a large amount (0.5L) of fast-drying epoxy and use it to make the same-volume shape, then the result may not come out as you would have liked. Epoxy can dry out, remain bubbly, or remain like orange bark on top.
For the ultrafast manufacture of small products, we recommend using UV-hardening epoxy UV-Creation. The product is one-component and hardens under the influence of UV in a couple of minutes.
Maximum layer thickness
For various products of epoxy resin, it is also necessary to monitor the maximum thickness of the single casting of the product. If you pour a thin casting product at once with a thick casting then the work will be spoiled. In fact, it is very difficult to estimate how thick the pain can be done with a product, because it also depends very much on the overall volume.
For example, a product for thin casting can also be used to pour casting up to 4cm thick if it is only a few hundred grams of the finished mixture in quantity. However, if this is done, for example, in the case of a kilo amount, then the work will definitely be spoiled.
The ResinPro product range also includes Epoxytable 10, a product for casting up to 10cm thick. With this product, it is really possible to pour up to 10cm thick casting at a time, but still the thickness should be reduced if it is planned to pour more than 10 kilograms at a time.
For very large and thick castings, we recommend pouring in several layers, for this you can also use products designed for thinner casting.
Fluidity
Fluidity, or viscousness, characterizes the consistency of the epoxy mixture in liquid form.
In general, thicker products are designed for painting work, and more liquid products are designed specifically for filling out forms to ensure that the mold is fully filled.
The thicker the consistency of the epoxy, the thicker the casting layer remains on the plane and the less the epoxides of different colors mix with each other. Also, low viscosity products can be used to cover vertical surfaces.
The strength of the material after hardening
The strength of the material after hardening is not dependent on the thickness of the material or the drying time. The strength of the final product depends only on the specifics of the product. Most of the Products in the ResinPro product range are hardened into strong plastics that are highly resistant to daily wear and tear and resistant to UV light.
However, there are also epoxides in the product range that are heat and scratch resistant (HeatPro) and a product that is elastic even after hardening (one to one Flex)
