Polishing is an important step in achieving a perfectly finished resin surface. Although resin tends to become shiny, moisture can cause unsightly dull streaks. With ResinPro products, you can easily achieve a long-lasting glossy finish without any special experience.
Important steps to achieve the perfect polish
- Preparing the plan :
- When using the orbital buffer, place the resin surface on a damp cloth to avoid unwanted movement. Keep a damp cloth handy to rinse between sandpaper applications.
- Polishing :
- Start with the lowest hardness polish and work evenly over the surface. Move the polisher evenly so that it stays in one place for no more than 2-3 seconds. Clean the surface with a damp cloth and denatured alcohol after each polishing process. Before switching to a 4000 hardness polish, moisten the surface lightly with water to remove any traces.
- Poland app :
- Once you've finished polishing with the different blades, it's time to apply EpoxyPolish ResinPro. This final product will give the surface a great shine, removing any remaining marks and defects. Use a polishing pad to evenly distribute the polish and remove any excess with another pad or a wool cloth.
