EPOXYWOOD is a well-absorbed, well-adhesion and weather resistant product that is an indispensable product in the maintenance and protection of surfaces. By covering the wooden parts of seacraft with EPOXYWOOD, the surface protection and waterproofing of the hull are obtained.
EPOXYWOOD treated wood is fully waterproof and long-lived, maintaining the elasticity and strength characteristics of the wood.
Surface preparation
Before applying EPOXYWOOD, make sure that the surface you are treating is completely dry and moisture-free. The wood to be processed must always be clean and without oils or other solvents. Before applying, we recommend grinding the surfaces.
Preparation of the mixture:
Mix component A and component B with a volume ratio of 2:1 or by weight of 70:30.
Stir for at least 2 minutes
Applicable with roller, brush or spray.
Usable for 30 minutes at 20'c.
We recommend using an epoxy thinner to clean the instruments.
For proper waterproofing, apply 3 layers every 12 hours.
Becomes solid in 12-24 hours, complete hardening in 7 days (20 °C)
