The Abek Climax Gas Mask is designed to provide maximum protection against certain gases, vapours and particles such as dust, mist and smoke. It is the ideal companion for anyone working with epoxy, polyurethane or polyester resins.
It is compatible with Climax filters models 755 and 756.
The product consists of a mask + 2 filters. Description and characteristics. The mask body is made of flexible black rubber. The mask is made of a soft, lightweight and breathable fabric. The material as well as the shape and size of the mask allow a comfortable and airtight fit.
The mask has a central hole in the exhalation valve, support flaps and two additional openings on the sides to adjust the connections for inhalation. Support valve: the mask is equipped with an exhalation valve to allow air to escape easily. the mask is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
This design ensures that the force exerted by the mask's elastic straps is evenly distributed for a more comfortable fit. It has a very comfortable back and front strap and an easy length adjustment system. The filter is cylindrical (diameter: 79 mm) with a black high-density polyethylene (HDPE) housing.
The filter consists of two white fabric filter panels. The discs are placed inside the lid and on the bottom and easily absorb activated carbon.
The filters are connected to the mask by means of threading. Mask body. The design and material used allow for an airtight fit, avoiding inward air leakage through the mask/face connection. The two filter connections shall be screwed and interchangeable within the mask housing.
