Fiberglass matting is a genuine fabric derived from staple fibers, mainly used with polyester or vinyl ester blends. It is characterised by its high weight and excellent mechanical properties. The product is sold in 1,00 m x 1,20 m pieces. Born for technical needs, particularly in the maritime and aerospace sectors, fibreglass has become one of the most widely used materials for small and large objects in just a few years. Its specific characteristics, such as high mechanical resistance, resistance to temperature changes and chemical agents, as well as very good fire retardancy, make it a durable yet highly malleable product.
